Macrium Reflect wins a "Peoples Choice" award at the Software Industries Conference - 28th July 2008
Paramount Software UK Ltd. today announced that Macrium Reflect, recently won the "People's Choice" Award for receiving the "Most Votes" on Tucows. The People's Choice Awards winners were announced during the annual Software Industry Conference (SIC) in Boston, Massachusetts.

Reflect v4.2
15th March 2008
Reflect v4.2 is released and adds many new features.
New faster compression engine
Higher compression ratio and faster compression makes Reflect the fastest imaging and backup software available.
Auto Verify.
Image or backup files can be automatically verified directly after creation.
Log Filtering
Logs can now be filtered to show successful or failed logs only.
XML File location
You can now choose the directory to save XML files to.
Linux Rescue CD
Update to the latest Linux kernel.
Windows PE
The Keyboard, Time Zone and date formatting are now automatic.
Additional drivers can be automatically loaded when Windows PE boots.
Windows Boot Menu
A new Windows boot menu will boot into the Windows PE rescue environment without using a boot CD/DVD.
DVD rescue disk
The Linux and Windows rescues discs can now be burnt to DVD as well as CD.
ISO image files
The Linux and Windows rescues discs can now be saved as ISO image files to be burnt using 3rd party software.
BartPE
A BartPE plug-in is now part of the standard install. |

Reflect 4.0.1810

Reflect 4.0.1810 Released. Reflect now adds VBScript and MS-DOS batch file generation options for ultimate backup control.
Your backups and image definitions can now be stored as XML definition files. These files can be passed a parameter to the Reflect command line, and included in auto generated VBScript and MS-DOS batch files.
The built in generator can:
Send emails on backup success or failure.
Run other programs before or after backup.
Add messages to the Windows event log.
Elevate Vista scripts automatically.
Plus many other scripting functions.

Reflect 3.0.1730 Released. Reflect now includes a Windows PE 2.0 (Vista) based rescue CD for registered users.
Paramount Software (Macrium Software)UK Ltd is pleased to announce as a Microsoft ISV (Independent Software Vendor) we can supply a Windows PE 2.0 recovery CD to complement the Reflect backup software. Due to licensing restrictions this Recovery CD is available FREE to registered users of Reflect only.
The main advantages of this solution are:
1. Customers with PC's that are incompatible with our Linux based Rescue CD can access and restore partitions and files without problem.
2. A new 'Fix Boot Problems' option will repair the boot process if your PC fails to load windows.
