I have 4 computers in my network. 1 runs Windows 7, 2 run Vista Home Premium, and 1 runs Vista Basic.
My question is "Do I need to create a Linux rescue disk for each environment, and if so, HOW OFTEN?"

Create one disk and see if it will recognize the components in each of your systems, booting with it. If it doesn't work, you will need to try building a BartPE disk, or buy the licensed version to create a WinPE version, which is guaranteed to work. |

Merlin, I have the licensed version of Reflect, in fact I have the Household 4 license version. I have tried everything with no luck. I am no tsure what you mean by the WinPE version.
I spent several days getting teh backup to write to a network drive, and now I am getting frustrated with the rescue process. I would have expected this to be real simple, especially the LINUX disk. But it hasnt been. Does Macrium Reflect support Windows 7? All my efforts have been on my Windows 7 computer. thanks, John Dossey |
