I have a situation in which the email notifications work about 95% of the time. That is very nice. BUT, on occasion, the mail server is down or something happens and the email can't be sent out. Murphy's Law. So, then what happens is there is a Modal Mesage Dialog on my screen telling me of the email error. WEEEELLLL, if I am asleep when the backups occur, then when I wake up, I see the error and click on it and then the other backups continue on. SO, now while I'm working on the computer, it's doing the backup and making my life slow, especially for video editing. See, every night I run 7 backups (one for each partition). So, if the 1st backup gets the email error, then I'm screwed, because when I get up, now I have to click "OK" and then I have to wait until ALL the other backups have completed before I can start my high demand work.

Get what I am saying?

thanks

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us.

You can hide the Windows scripting message boxes by adding the line:

On Error Resume Next

After the line:

Dim objMessage

In the function 'SendEmail'

Kind regards.

Chris.
