If my HD fails, what is the process to transfer the image to a new hard drive?

What REFLECT backup mode should I use ?

How do I get the old image on a new hard drive and have it boot reliably ?

I need response from someone who has successfully done this !

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us.

If your hard drive fails, you should boot into the rescue environment and restore your most recent image file be it a full, incremental or differential.

Please see the following KB article (with accompanying video tutorial) on how to use this feature:
http://kb.macrium.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50079.aspx

Kind regards.

Chris.

Hi,

Generally we recommend customers use medium compression (the default) as this strikes a good balance between compression and time to compress.

Kind regards.

Chris.
