I have a Folder backup, and in the Advanced Settings, Backup Tab, in the Password Area -- I checked "Enable password protection", and entered an 11 character Password.

The AES Encryption selection is set to "None".

If I attempt to access these backup files, I am promoted for the Password.

Can you tell me If the Backups that I have created are Encrypted or not? What type of Encryption, if any is being used?

Hi Warrenrh,

Thanks for posting.

Your backups are password protected and are not encrypted as you have set the encryption option to "none".

The encryption would be AES if you were to use the encryption option.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards
